Injectables (Botox®, Fillers, Sculptra®, PRF)
Is Botox® safe?
When administered by licensed medical professionals, Botox® is FDA-approved and considered safe. At Glowlight, every injectable appointment includes an assessment of facial anatomy, goals, and medical history before treatment.
What is the difference between Botox®, Dysport®, and Jeuveau®?
Botox®, Dysport®, and Jeuveau® are all neuromodulators that relax targeted facial muscles to soften dynamic wrinkles. The difference lies in formulation and diffusion characteristics. During your consultation, we determine which product is best suited for your anatomy and goals.
What age should you start Botox®?
There is no universal “right age.” Some clients begin in their late 20s or early 30s for preventative treatment, while others start later. We assess skin condition and muscle activity rather than age alone.
How long do Botox® results last?
Botox® typically lasts 3–4 months depending on metabolism, muscle strength, and dosage. Maintenance treatments help preserve results.
What is the difference between dermal filler and Sculptra®?
Dermal fillers add instant volume to areas like cheeks or lips and defines contours. Sculptra® works gradually by stimulating your body’s own collagen production for longer-term structural improvement. Many clients benefit from a layered approach using both.
How long do dermal fillers last?
Filler longevity varies by product and treatment area but generally lasts 6–18 months. Your provider will explain expected duration during your consultation.
Can I combine Botox®, filler, and laser treatments?
Yes. Many clients benefit from combining treatments for comprehensive results. We create customized treatment plans that safely layer modalities over time.
What should I avoid before injectable treatments?
Avoid alcohol, blood thinners (if medically appropriate), and certain supplements like fish oil for several days prior to reduce bruising risk. We provide personalized pre-care guidance before your appointment.
What is PRF and how is it different from PRP?
PRF (platelet-rich fibrin) uses your own blood to stimulate collagen and tissue regeneration. It contains more growth factors and works more gradually than PRP. It is often used under the eyes or for natural rejuvenation.
How much do Botox® and filler cost in Bellevue?
Pricing varies depending on dosage and treatment area. We provide customized quotes during your consultation to ensure accurate, transparent pricing based on your needs.
Laser & Skin Treatments
Does Aerolase laser hurt?
Aerolase laser treatments are generally well tolerated and require no numbing in most cases. Clients describe the sensation as warm or mildly snapping. It is designed to treat pigmentation, redness, acne, and skin rejuvenation with minimal downtime.
What skin concerns does Aerolase treat?
Aerolase treats acne, rosacea, pigmentation, sun damage, uneven tone, fine lines, and overall skin rejuvenation. It is safe for all skin tones and works by targeting pigment and stimulating collagen.
What is the downtime for microneedling?
Most clients experience redness for 24–72 hours following microneedling. Some mild peeling or dryness may occur. We provide detailed aftercare instructions to support optimal healing.
IV Therapy & Wellness
What is IV therapy and how does it work?
IV therapy delivers fluids, vitamins, and nutrients directly into the bloodstream for faster absorption than oral supplements. Glowlight offers customized IV infusions designed to support hydration, immunity, energy, recovery, and overall wellness optimization. Each treatment is administered by licensed medical professionals and tailored to your goals.
Do IV drips really work?
IV therapy delivers hydration, vitamins, and nutrients directly into the bloodstream for faster absorption than oral supplements. Many clients report improved energy, hydration, and recovery.
Is NAD+ IV therapy safe?
When administered under medical supervision, NAD+ therapy is generally well tolerated. During your consultation, we review your medical history and discuss whether it is appropriate for you.
What is NAD+ IV therapy and what are the benefits?
NAD+ (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide) is a coenzyme that supports cellular energy production and metabolic function. NAD+ IV therapy is often used to promote mental clarity, recovery, anti-aging support, and overall vitality. At Glowlight Med Spa, NAD+ infusions are medically supervised and customized to your wellness goals.
Medical Weight Loss (GLP-1)
Is GLP-1 weight loss safe?
When prescribed and monitored by a medical provider, GLP-1 medications are FDA-approved and clinically supported for weight management. At Glowlight, patients receive medical oversight and structured follow-up.
Do I qualify for medical weight loss treatment?
Eligibility depends on BMI, medical history, and overall health profile. A consultation with our provider determines whether GLP-1 therapy is appropriate for you.
Wedding & Event Planning
How soon before my wedding should I schedule aesthetic treatments?
The ideal timeline depends on the type of treatment.
Laser and skin rejuvenation treatments typically require a series of 4 to 6 sessions spaced about 6 weeks apart. For best results, you should begin laser treatments at least 6 to 9 months before your wedding date.
Botox (neuromodulators) should be scheduled at least 4 weeks before your wedding. Results take up to 14 days to fully develop, and this allows time for a follow-up appointment if small adjustments are needed.
Dermal filler should also be completed at least 4 weeks before your event. This allows swelling to resolve and ensures there is time for refinement if necessary.
In general, the earlier you begin planning your treatment timeline, the better your results will be. However, we do not recommend scheduling new injectable treatments less than 30 days before your wedding.
For the most customized plan, we recommend scheduling a consultation as early as possible so we can build a treatment strategy around your event date.
